Some of my favourite sessions are the ones without a big reason behind them.

No proposal. No engagement. No special occasion.

Just two people wanting to remember a place they explored together.

These two love to travel and make it a point to have photos taken wherever they go. Not for social media, but because years from now they want to remember how it felt to be there.

The quiet streets before sunrise. The first light appearing over the city. Finding a favourite café. Wandering without a plan.

We met before most of Prague was awake and spent the morning exploring around Charles Bridge and Prague Castle as blue hour slowly turned into sunrise.

Before the session they told me they were quite shy in front of the camera. But honestly, that’s often where the best photographs come from.

No performing. No trying to look perfect.

Just being present with each other.

Those are the moments that always matter most.

Their first time in Prague.

They flew in together. She had a conference here, and they decided to make a holiday out of it. What she didn’t know was that he had been carrying a little secret the whole trip.
He asked her to get dressed up and walk to Charles Bridge before 6am. She thought it was a little suspicious. She went anyway.

In his pocket: a ring box. An enormous one. And every time she got close to him, he was quietly convinced she’d feel it. 💍

I was already there at the spot, pretending to be a photographer shooting couples by the river. Just another person with a camera on a quiet Prague morning. Nothing to see here.

When he got down on one knee by the Vltava she laughed: that big, unguarded laugh that happens when something so good catches you completely off guard.
Then she held his face and said yes.

All the way from Chicago, US and Prague became the city where everything changed for them.

I feel so lucky to do what I do.

Some love stories begin with fireworks.
Theirs began quietly, with a Bumble date at a little café in Prague, followed by another date in Petřín just a few days later. After that, they were pretty much inseparable. 💛

Now, almost four years later, it’s still the simple things they love most. Slow evenings together, finding a new favorite restaurant, summer picnics, playing cards in the park, and building a life that feels calm, safe, and fully theirs.

Before their wedding in Greece, we spent a beautiful sunrise wandering through the blooming orchards of Petřín Hill, documenting this season of their life exactly as it feels right now, warm, playful, quiet, and deeply connected. 🤍

That’s always my goal with couples photography. Not perfect poses, but honest moments that still feel like you years later.
