🇬🇧 Sometimes wildlife photography feels a bit like hide-and-seek. 😄
You spend half the morning looking for a bird, and when you finally find it, it stands there as if it has been waiting for you the whole time.

🇬🇧 One of the things I enjoy most about photographing shorebirds is that they make you slow down.
You lie close to the ground, watch the light change, and wait. Sometimes for a long time. And then a small bird steps into the perfect spot for just a few seconds.
Moments like this remind me that patience is still one of the most important pieces of photography.

🇨🇿 Na focení bahňáků mě baví hlavně to, že člověka nutí zpomalit.
Ležíte nízko u země, sledujete měnící se světlo a čekáte. Někdy opravdu dlouho. A pak malý pták na pár vteřin vstoupí přesně tam, kam potřebuje.
Právě takové chvíle mi připomínají, že trpělivost je pořád jednou z nejdůležitějších součástí fotografie.

🇬🇧 Another early morning with European Bee-eaters. 💚
I could honestly spend every sunrise watching these birds. The colors, the light, the constant movement… and then suddenly a quiet second like this appears.
That’s usually the moment I enjoy the most.

🇨🇿 Další brzké ráno s vlhami pestrými. 💚
Upřímně bych mohl každé svítání trávit jejich pozorováním. Ty barvy, světlo, neustálý pohyb… a pak najednou přijde klidný moment jako tenhle.
A právě ty mě baví asi nejvíc.

🇬🇧 Sometimes wildlife photography means lying in wet mud at sunrise, hoping for one interesting moment.
Most of the time nothing happens. And then suddenly — this. 😄
Common Shelducks doing their morning routine, completely ignoring the photographer lying a few meters away.

🇨🇿 Wildlife fotografie někdy znamená ležet za východu slunce v mokrém bahně a čekat, jestli se něco vůbec stane.
Většinou se neděje nic. A pak najednou přijde tohle. 😄
Husice liščí při své ranní rutině, zatímco fotograf pár metrů vedle pomalu přestával cítit nohy.

Just soft light, silence, and a small bird walking slowly across the shore.
Moments like this are the reason I keep coming back to wetlands again and again.

🇨🇿 Některá rána nepotřebují žádné velké drama.
Stačí jemné světlo, ticho a malý pták pomalu procházející po břehu.
Přesně kvůli takovým momentům se na mokřady pořád vracím.

🇬🇧 Monday morning with one of the most beautiful birds I can photograph here. 💚
European Bee-eater in perfect light, calm weather and one of those moments when everything just works.
These are the mornings that make waking up at 3 AM completely worth it.

🇨🇿 Pondělní ráno s jedním z nejkrásnějších ptáků, které mám možnost fotit. 💚
Vlhy pestré v perfektním světle, klidné ráno a přesně ten moment, kdy všechno jednoduše vyjde.
Kvůli takovým ránům stojí vstávání ve tři úplně za to.

No perfect pose, no dramatic scene — just two Black-headed Gulls enjoying an early morning on the water.

🇨🇿 Přesně kvůli takovým momentům mě baví wildlife fotografie.
Žádná dokonalá póza ani velké drama — jen dva rackové chechtaví v ranním světle na vodě.
