Sometimes, you just have to aid your photos with a little bit of Photoshop 😅 this is a composition of two different images. One of the plane wreck and one of the northern lights. Taken few days and about 100km apart. Should I do more or do you dislike that it's photoshopped? Tell me in the comments 😉

I reprocessed the last Orion image I took a few weeks back. As expected, we got the autumn weather so it doesn't look good for imaging of new things. I really hope I'll get some clear nights during new moon but probably not 😅

Yeah, it's that time of year again. I went to my cottage to prepare it for a winter and I didn't expect the weather to clear up but it did so I thought I'd just do quick one night Ha image of the horse head nebula. Unfortunately instead of the whole night, I only got around 3 hours as my mount got stuck for no apparent reason, I'll have to check on that further. Anyway enjoy at least this quick image 😊

Finally! My work on the Dark Shark nebula in Cepheus is done 🎉. It is 52,6 hours of used data plus around 7 hours were thrown out. I was working on this target for three months and I'm really proud of the result. This is more than double the time I've spent on one target and I think it clearly shows that it paid off 😊 it is a two panel mosaic and most of the processing including stitching was done in PixInsight and some cosmetic touch ups in Photoshop. I really hope you'll like this one 😊.
