This work is currently exhibited at the Glasgow Gallery of Photography

I wanted to create an image about boundaries. About the right not to meet expectations, not to play the roles assigned to you, and not to become the person others want you to be. For me, this photograph is not about the body — it is about freedom. About the ability to say “no” when agreement is expected, and to remain yourself even when others may not like it.

These photographs are not about a fracture. They are about the experience of trying to rebuild yourself when the life you know has been interrupted. They are about searching for support when familiar foundations disappear. They are about vulnerability, fear, uncertainty, and at the same time, the ability to keep moving forward even when every step feels difficult.

Over the last year, I’ve been immersed in photography, contemporary art, exhibitions, and creative projects. But being in front of the camera has always felt like home.📸
