Even if it was raining all day long, not for a moment did it take away from the joy of this day. It simply led us down a less predictable path.

Sometimes that’s where the magic lives. When you stop trying to control every moment, you begin to notice what is really happening. The unexpected moments that could never be planned.

For me, this is what documentary wedding photography is about. Following the story as it unfolds and trusting that the most beautiful moments often arrive exactly when nothing goes according to plan.
