Fit4Alz Final conference and TPM Fitness for Alzheimer
Novi Sad Serbia (15th and 16th of May, 2025)
It was our great pleasure to host the International Conference and the final meeting within the project "Fitness for Alzheimer", which was implemented as part of the Erasmus+ Sport program.
The international conference was held on May 15 at the "Pupin" hotel in Novi Sad and was attended by representatives of the consortium from Portugal, Poland, Italy, and Serbia, while the representative of the Netherlands participated online. Project coordinator from Portugal, Ana Filipa Silva, also participated online.
The conference was attended by representatives of the member organizations of the Association, the Provincial Institute for Sports and Medicine of sports and numerous sports experts with a license in the field of sport for all, too.
The representatives of the Portuguese Association of Alzheimer, who actively participated in the realization of this project, did not attend the conference for justified reasons.
The moderator of the conference was Olivera Jovanović, general secretary of the Association, and during the opening of the conference, the attendees were addressed by Marko Adamović, president of the Association Sport for all Vojvodina.

presented their program activities.
Below, during the second part of the conference. a lecture on "Fitness for Alzheimer's" was held.
During the lecture, we talked about Alzheimer's disease - diagnosis and possibilities for its prevention (Jose Carvalho, HPB), after which we talked about the impact of physical exercise on the neurodegenerative process (Rui Silva, IPVC).
Also, the activities of the Fit4Alz project were presented, as well as the achieved results.
After great presentations and a short discussion, all conference participants were awarded certificates.
On the second day, May 16, the final meeting of the partner organizations was held, during which further activities within the project were agreed upon.
Special attention was paid to defining strategies for sharing project results, organizing seminars and events for e-book presentation, and activities for the preparation of the final project report.
The Association Sport for all Vojvodina would like to thank all the participants, especially the project coordinator and partner organizations, who made a significant contribution to the successful implementation of the "Fit4Alz" project throughout Europe.
