Street portraits from the Georgia Renaissance Festival.
I wanted to shoot super tight shots to capture the performers in a way that shows their essence more as people than characters.
Everyone was incredibly friendly, beautiful, and accommodating as they let me find good light and a background that was complimentary to their outfit.

Shot with a Leica SL2s and a Thypoch Simera 75mm 1.4 wide open for insane subject isolation.

I have been going through some older galleries lately and ran into a set from Bangkok about a family that lives in abandoned airplanes.
Dragging a painfully slow Hasselblad and a lighting system on vacation was kind of a bitch, but the results are interesting.

Shooting cocktails at Cooper’s Speakeasy in the splendid Nekajui, a Ritz-Carlton Reserve.

Beverages are my absolute favorite thing to photograph. The perfect light and the ideal amount of condensation, arranging the ice and backlight to make the drink glow just a little. The process is pure zen.

My favorite kitchen this year is in the kids club at Andaz Papagayo.
The little chairs and low counters don’t diminish that this is simply fantastic interior design.

A dreamy oceanfront bedroom at Nekajui, A Ritz-Carlton Reserve private residence.
The design in this villa is just perfect with high ceilings and proportions that just feel correct in every way. The color palette harmonizes with the nature just outside the window.
