I met Sofia through a friend in the Rica. She is an incredible architect, furniture maker, and go- getter. We got to take some promotional shots for her business with pieces that she designed and made. Truly talented and abundantly kind. These are some of my favorites from our downtown photoshoot!

Because of the 90-day visas in Costa Rica, we had to leave the country for a weekend to restart our visas. I had the opportunity to visit Tegucigalpa, Honduras and see the ministry of King's Castle and spend time with Jesse Harshbarger. This colorful city was really brought to life as we walked through Valle de Angeles to see beautiful handmade goods and visit the bakery to get delicious Honduran Semitas.

To learn more about her and the ministry she does in the city:

Moe: an international traveling, going on 19-year-old pup who has been kidnapped and held at ransom. We did an impromptu photoshoot thinking he wouldn't make it much longer, but this little miracle still lives today with his family who serve as Strategic Missionaries with AGWM and Director of Convoy of Hope Atlanta.

Check out more of their story below!

Professora Karen is the Academic Dean and professor for us at Cincel Language School in San Jose. This incredible woman just completed her PhD, has written a children's book, spoken at conferences and patiently taught dozens of missionaries to learn a new language. I am grateful for her and the time I got to spend under her compassionate teaching and friendship. I was honored to get to take her pictures for her book and to celebrate her birthday while I was there! 💙

Hey everybody! It has been a while since I have posted anything, but there has been lots of change happening behind the scenes.

About 2 years ago, March of 2020, I took a little trip to Costa Rica to visit and take pictures for some of my missionary friends. It was there that I got to hear their stories and listen to their hearts for missions and the Lord started to prick something in my own heart. After months and months of praying, God confirmed a calling for missions. Since November of 2020, doors have been opening for me to pursue this calling and as of last November 2021, I was officially approved as a Missionary Associate to Belize.

I am now in a season of raising support to be able to leave for language school in August. I will be continuing to do pictures until then, but this incredible season of my life is coming to an end... for now 😉

Photography was never my plan, it was an opportunity that God put in my lap, grew, and used to lead me to my calling. This has been one of my favorite ways to serve my church and it has allowed me to meet some of my closest friends. This will be one of the ways that I will be able to meet and connect with people on the mission field and begin amazing friendships with them. This business has been the blessing that led me to meet some of the most incredible people and the honor to capture your most celebratory moments. THANK YOU to every single person that has trusted me over the past few years.

I have loved every second of it.

I will still be doing pictures up until I leave in August, so if you are wanting some before I head out, just let me know and we will make it happen 💙

This rain was killing us today. I had a shoot scheduled for the afternoon sunset and we decided last night to move it to the morning due to weather. As the day went on it was being pushed back and we finally got to meet for pictures around 130pm. As soon as we finished and started walking back to our cars, it starts raining...

The husband said, "This is what we prayed for, for the rain to hold off so we could get pictures done. It's the little things with God."

It reminded me of Matthew 7 where it talks about how good an earthly father is that if you ask him for bread, he wouldn't give you stone and if you ask him for fish, he wouldn't give you a snake. But how much more merciful is our Heavenly Father who gives good gifts to those who seek Him. 🙌 thankful that He shows how much He cares through the little things.
