A little over a year ago, I had the opportunity to meet them and capture their engagement session. And now, one year later, I had the honor of seeing them again to document their wedding. 💛

We started with those first moments as they got ready, and little by little, we experienced a day filled with emotions, nerves and laughter. We had the privilege of witnessing their “I do” and, of course, ending the day with an amazing celebration. ✨🥂

We also had the opportunity to work alongside Emily from 𝑇𝘩𝑒 𝑊𝑒𝑑𝑑𝑖𝑛𝑔 𝐷𝑒𝑠𝑖𝑔𝑛𝑒𝑟 who organized every detail beautifully, together with an incredible team of vendors who helped make this day possible.

Hace un año tuve la oportunidad de conocerlos y acompañarlos durante su sesión de compromiso. Y ahora, un año después, tuve el honor de volver a encontrarlos para documentar su boda. 💛

Comenzamos desde esos primeros momentos mientras se preparaban, y poco a poco fuimos recorriendo un día lleno de emociones nervios y risas. Tuvimos el privilegio de ser testigos de su “sí, acepto” y, por supuesto, de terminar celebrándolo en grande durante la fiesta. ✨🥂

También tuvimos la oportunidad de trabajar junto a Emily de 𝑇𝘩𝑒 𝑊𝑒𝑑𝑑𝑖𝑛𝑔 𝐷𝑒𝑠𝑖𝑔𝑛𝑒𝑟 , quien organizó cada detalle de una manera espectacular, y con un increíble equipo de proveedores que hizo posible este día.

Ari and Roberto’s ceremony took place in one of the most beautiful gardens in Monteverde, at Hotel Belmar, beside a small lake surrounded by trees. ✨

That afternoon felt simply magical. And even though Monteverde weather can always surprise us with rain, not a single drop fell during the ceremony.

Instead, a soft mist appeared among the trees, wrapping the entire place in an even more romantic and dreamy atmosphere. 💛

La ceremonia de Ari y Roberto se realizó en uno de los jardines más hermosos de Monteverde, en el Hotel Belmar, junto a un pequeño lago rodeado de árboles. ✨

Esa tarde se sintió simplemente mágica. Y aunque en Monteverde la lluvia siempre puede sorprendernos, durante la ceremonia no cayó ni una sola gota.

En cambio, una suave neblina apareció entre los árboles, envolviendo el lugar y haciendo que todo se sintiera aún más especial y romántico. 💛

Carlos, from Mexico, reached out to me to plan his surprise proposal in front of the Arenal Volcano. He was a little nervous — and honestly, it made total sense — because planning such a special moment from afar can feel overwhelming.

Little by little, we went through every detail: outfit ideas, the exact spot where he should stand, and the strategy we would use so we wouldn’t give away that we were his accomplices. 😅

And on the day of the surprise… everything went perfectly. The nerves were high, but so was the excitement. And as the perfect gift, the Arenal Volcano stayed visible throughout the entire session, giving us a breathtaking backdrop for a story they’ll never forget. ✨

Carlos, desde México, me contactó para coordinar su propuesta sorpresa frente al volcán Arenal. Estaba un poco nervioso —y con toda razón— porque planear algo tan especial a distancia siempre trae sus dudas.

Poco a poco fuimos viendo cada detalle: ideas de vestuario, el punto exacto donde debía estar y la estrategia para que no descubrieran que nosotros éramos sus cómplices. 😅

Y el día de la sorpresa… todo salió perfecto. Los nervios estaban a tope, pero también la emoción. Y como regalo extra, el volcán Arenal se dejó ver durante toda la sesión, regalándonos un fondo espectacular para una historia que nunca van a olvidar. ✨

We drove down through the forest in a 4x4, heading toward the cabins at El Tigre Hideaway, and from the very beginning, the whole experience felt special.

The couple fell so deeply in love with the place that they dreamed of reading their vows in front of the cabin’s round door, with the forest as their backdrop. They also decided to share that moment through a live stream, so their friends and family could be part of it from afar.

Before the ceremony, we took a few photos by the small waterfall near the cabins, and then returned for that intimate and meaningful moment when they finally said: “I do.”

Bajamos en un 4x4 por el bosque, rumbo a las cabañas de El Tigre Hideaway, comenzando así una experiencia que desde el inicio se sintió especial.

La pareja se enamoró tanto del lugar que soñaba con leer sus votos frente a la puerta redonda de la cabaña, con el bosque como telón de fondo. Además, decidieron compartir ese momento en una transmisión en vivo, para que sus amigos y familiares pudieran acompañarlos a la distancia.

Antes de la ceremonia, aprovechamos para hacer unas fotos en la pequeña catarata cerca de las cabañas, y luego regresamos para vivir ese instante tan íntimo y significativo en el que finalmente dijeron: “sí, acepto.”
