Day 11 of our Costa Rican Adventure 5/7/2024: We got to sleep in a little before hitting the road back to San Jose. So I walked around to see if I could find some of the White-faced Capuchins (monkeys) that live in the park. And it didn’t take long to find some that were jumping from the trees to the floor above me to steal condiment packets and food from the service carts and take them back to the trees to devour. They were funny to watch and provided me with some easy shots!

Once on the road, we stopped in Tarcoles at Jungle Crocodile Safari where we got on a river boat. We saw lots of birds, crocodiles, and iguanas, and even some crocodile babies hiding in the grass. It was a way to break up the trip back to San Jose. That night, we had one last meal with our group before saying goodbye and heading back home the next day. Costa Rica was another great adventure for us!

Day 10 of our Costa Rican Adventure 5/6/2024: After breakfast, several of headed out on a catamaran excursion that took us around Manuel Antonio National Park by sea. As we got out to sea, we came upon some dolphins and followed them for a bit before continuing the tour. Then we anchored in a cove while several people snorkeled; others swam, and several people watched and took in the views. After a while, we had lunch on the boat and then headed back. It was a lot of fun!

We rested for a while after lunch and had dinner at Puerto Escondido Restaurant down the street from our hotel. The food and ambiance were great!
