Another view of the same osprey and rainbow trout that I posted earlier. I really like this straight on view with clear sky behind - only the second time I have captured a perspective like this in dozens if not hundreds of sightings of ospreys catching fish (the previous one was in the Everglades in Florida in 2022).

A Great Egret bringing a large stick to the nest at Avery Island in Louisiana, about a month ago on 3/7/2026. Avery Island is where Tabasco Sauce is made, and it also has a great garden and bird sanctuary.
