For the last two weeks, I've been in Colombia, exploring the story behind 's Colombian Cacao. Sourced from Sierra Nevada de Santa Marta on the Venezuelan border, this incredibly biodiverse region is home to the Arhuaco people who grow the cacao used in the Colombia 80% Dark chocolate in Zotter's Labooko line.

Like many cacao growing areas, this one is remote, vibrant, and packed with stories. I can't wait to share them.

Earlier this summer I went out to Qinghai to photograph some of the characters behind traditional Tibetan Rug craftsmanship. As you can imagine, spending time with one of China's most iconic Tibetan weavers was time well spent, easy laughs, and a real tangible love for craft.

I was photographing for .club a project by boutique design agency, spearheaded by the exhaustingly energetic and Evelyn who continue to inspire me with how driven they are (and frankly their ability to juggle so many cool projects, teach me your ways!)

They launched The Happy Few this summer with a stunning collection of hand made rugs, made to order, charmingly nostalgic and down to earth - my favourite is the pattern that reminds me of Chinese farmland from above. The trip to Qinghai was to explore a new addition to the line, featuring the beautifully rugged Tibetan style of rug making.

So, for Small Business Saturday today, I'm celebrating .club gorgeous, made to order rugs celebrating Chinese craftsmanship, modern design, and a masterclass on how to use a brand to tell stories, and build community.

Images of what began as Shanghai's 5 day long city-wide lockdown as it stretches well into it's second month, with no end in sight. These are images of the countless individuals clad in white protective clothing, tasked with the upkeep of a city of 23 million people, while ensuring no one leaves their homes.

I love getting the opportunity to tell more complex stories through photography and videography. I've spent a good amount of time travelling to places like Peru or Guatemala to film and photograph the stories behind cacao, and eventually the process that turns it into Chocolate. These stories are becoming more important to consumers, and offer great moments and vivid content for your brand.

I work with a range of food and beverage providers, from fine dining to casual, behind the scenes to the flourish on the plate. Most of my shoots also include video content, from simple dish highlights to larger feature pieces. I've shot for companies big and small, from Starbucks to Michelin Guide restraunt Da Vittorio.

I keep busy while I'm in Shanghai capturing events. I aim to capture the vibrancy and emotion that these moments naturally, and produce video content from the event to match. I've been fortunate to work alongside Social Supply Shanghai with clients such as Shanghai Village and Ferrero Rocher. I have also have had the opportunity to shoot for Starbucks, New Zealand Trade and Enterprise, WeWork, the NBA, Marriott and many more.

About a year ago I formally set up a media company in Shanghai, China, where I've been living for the past several years. My work ranges from shooting photo and video of anything from events, food & beverage, resorts, and larger more documentary-style pieces for brands.
