Doing nothing still feels like I’m falling behind.
Pero ya no vivo para correr. I left the rat race almost two years ago, and unlearning takes patience.

After almost 9 months on ships,
I’m back in Colombia letting myself rest.
I’ll do more later. Hoy… nada. And that’s enough.

We’ve decided to focus on keeping her as cozy and pain-free as possible. ❤️ If anyone has holistic approaches or organic diets for kidney failure or low platelets, we’d love to hear them. At 15 years old, hospitalizing her would likely cause more stress than comfort. Our goal is for her to enjoy her remaining days surrounded by love. It’s a hard decision, but it feels like the kindest one.

If ya want to contribute in keeping her cozy Zelle works.

Sidenote I will never get rid of this jumper.

Lying in the grass, I remember ~ life isn’t something we chase.
We get so lost in our own world that we forget about the world.
It’s right here; breathing in every leaf, every ripple, every quiet moment we overlook.

There’s life in everything, if we just slow down enough to notice it. 🍃
