Junctional Scotoma of Traquair Caused by an Intracranial Mass:
◾A 74-year-old man presented with worsening left peripheral vision. Visual acuity was 20/25 in the right eye (OD) and 20/40 in the left eye (OS).
◾Intraocular pressure was 14 bilaterally, with a 1.5 log-unit left relative afferent pupillary defect.
◾(A) Fundus examination showed a normal disc in OD and optic band atrophy in OS.
◾(B) Visual field (24-2) in the OS revealed a diffuse temporal defect.
◾(C, D) T1 postcontrast brain magnetic resonance imaging showed a left inferior frontal enhancing mass compressing the left prechiasmatic optic nerve and optic chiasm.
◾These findings are consistent with a junctional scotoma of Traquair.
