http://www.hellisroundthecorner.com It was Friday the 13th. "Bad luck day" as superstitious might say. So, let me present to you: "Hell is Round the Corner"!

On the other hand it could have been a perfect day to start something that is to do with the place between Heaven & Hell, Good & Bad, place that is on the Border. And, so, I decided to starting something that should be my new, long lasting, art project & some kind of window for others into my world of imagination & mind-trips, an entrance to "the corridors of my life". Basically it will be place w

here you should be able to see some of my photographs taken for this particular projects, but on the other hand, here & there I might drop in a photo taken for some of the commercial assignments or some of the older photos fitting to the concept. Please note that the site will be functioning on the blog principle and I will try to upload new photo (if possible) every two or three days. PLESE NOTE: Site is still WORK IN PROGRESS but I didn't want to miss Friday the 13th as a starting date. Hope you don't mind! Exposure: 1/8th of a second @ f/5.6
Film: Ilford HP5+
Dev.: XTOL / Jobo CPP-3 @ 35rpm @ 20ºC / 7:30min

NOTE: Film was hanging in my studio's bathroom (which is not being used) for about 10 days and seems to have caught mold which is manifested as tiny white dots in the scan. Another Shanghai GP3 film suffered much much worst. Not all of 8 films developed on the same day featured the mold!?

It is interesting to see how different the look is with the sharp image compared the one taken with the Norita 66 where I intentionally went for a long exposure & blurrier approach. I somehow prefer Norita shot :(

Two shots of my buddy Alexander, an amateur photographer in a real sense of the word... with whom I have recently "committed a crime" and purchased Noritsu HS1800 on which this film was scanned too, after we have developed it in our studio's little dark room, as one of the first color films to develop ourselves.
