On the Kent coast, overlooking the English Channel, Folkestone is one of those places that feels both nostalgic and beautifully unexpected.
Once a traditional seaside town, today it blends Victorian charm, contemporary art and coastal life. Wander through the colourful Creative Quarter, follow the streets down towards the harbour, then reach the Folkestone Hbr Arm, where old railway history meets sea views, food and sunsets.
But perhaps the most beautiful part of Folkestone is its atmosphere: the cliffs, the salty breeze, the endless horizon and, on the clearest days, the feeling that France is almost within reach. π¬π§ππ«π·
