Red pillars, latticework, painted beams — the gateway to Nanhai Dragon Palace in 3DGS. 🏮

A small corner of the attraction, captured with the SHARE SLAM S20 and processed in SHARE PointClouds Studio v2.7. Look up at the decorations and the colours of the beams; sometimes the entrance is the part worth remembering.

In the mobile app, open Device Firmware and follow the on-screen instructions to check for and install available updates.

Same scene, same data — a different 3DGS result. 🦖👀

We've updated the 3DGS algorithm in PCS V2.7, and put a before/after comparison together on this dinosaur skeleton hall in Heyuan, China. BEFORE on the left, AFTER on the right — both captured with the SHARE SLAM S20.

Zoom in on the bone edges, the ribs and the hall behind: the new version holds detail more cleanly as you move around the scene.

SHARE PointClouds Studio V2.7.0 is here — a major update with new features and improvements. 🥳

Browse the images to explore what’s new.The Mesh generation feature we previously announced is now available.✌️

• Improved 3DGS — improved generation quality and 3DGS cropping with undo support

• Mesh Generation — generate textured Mesh models from point clouds, with support for 3D Tiles, OSGB, GLB, and PLY exports

• Semantic Point Clouds — generate point clouds with predefined semantic labels and view them in semantic rendering mode

• Stockpile Measurement — calculate stockpile volumes directly in PCS

• Unit Conversion — switch between millimeters, centimeters, meters, feet, and inches

• Skybox Visibility Control — show or hide the skybox when viewing 3DGS models

• Multi-point Measurement — export multi-point measurement results

• Storage and Resource Estimates — estimate disk-space requirements
before processing, with improved GPU and system-memory estimates

SHARE PointClouds Studio V2.7 is now available! Update and take a closer look at upgraded 3DGS. 👀

Explore familiar spaces in 3D, with clearer structure, more natural-looking colours and finer texture detail in the scenes shown.

From reviewing a workspace to presenting a guest room or documenting a historic building, those details help tell the story of a place.

You can also crop your 3DGS model and show or hide the skybox to focus the view.
