How did the passion for photography start:
The first time I saw one of my photos I realised it was exactly how I saw it through my eyes. I fell in love how a machine was able to capture what my eyes saw. Outdoor guide and photographer: As an outdoor guide I show my tourist some of the most beautiful parts of Chile; the national parks, the fjords and the wildlife. I study what I see and what I sho
w my tourists. I want them to see something more than just a bird, a mountain, a glacier. I want them to understand what they see. Give it life, a story, a name. The same with my photos. I want to understand and learn about the object. When I take photo of wild animals I want to study it, know its name, understand its behaviour and respect them in their natural habitat. I am the guest when I am visiting the wild nature with my camera. All my photos have a story. Especially the once with animals since you need to have a lot of patience - or be really fast with the tricker! Furthermore I want to teach people about nature and wildlife both as a guide but also with my photos.
