🇦🇺 I never thought I would reach Africa for something else other than safari. But here I am with Aurora Expeditions exploring Tangier doing photography. What an opportunity and something I would not have dreamt of 5 years ago.
Yes it’s hot and yes I’m melting 🫠
🇦🇷Nunca pensé que llegaría a África por otra cosa que no fuera un safari. Pero aquí estoy con Aurora Expeditions explorando Tánger haciendo fotografía. Qué oportunidad y algo que no hubiera soñado hace 5 años.
Sí, hace calor y sí, me estoy derritiendo 🫠

🇦🇷 Día 6, ultimo día de nuestra travesía por Tasmania, tomamos el ferry para cruzar el Lago St Clair, y mientras esperábamos el bus para volver a la ciudad la vida silvestre siguió mostrándose. Hermosa primera experiencia en Tasmania.
🇦🇺 Day 6, the last day of our Tasmanian adventure, we took the ferry across Lake St. Clair, and while we waited for the bus back to town, the wildlife continued to make an appearance. A beautiful first experience in Tasmania.

🇦🇷Dia 5 de la travesia por Tasmania (Overland Track), mas hongos y naturaleza, día largo de caminata, hicimos dos secciones del sendero en un solo día para poder llegar al bote de extracción.
🇦🇺 Day 5 on the Overland Track in Tasmania, more shrooms and nature, long hiking day, we hiked two sections in a single day to make the extraction boat.

🇦🇷Día 4, comenzo con escarcha alrededor de la carpa, sanguijuelas en el pasto y un par de Güalabis desayunando junto al campamento, el clima al fin nos dio algo de sol y pudiemos ver eslizones metalicos que salieron a disfrutar del sol despues de varios días de lluvia y frio.
🇦🇺Day 4 began with frost around the tent, leeches in the grass, and a couple of wallabies having breakfast next to the camp. The weather finally gave us some sunshine, and we were able to see some metallic skinks coming out to enjoy the sun after several days of cold and rain.

🇦🇷 Día 3, si bien el día empezo con un poco de viento por fin tuvimos algo de sol, lo que hizo que atravezar los selvas templadas de Tasmania tengas un toque magico.
🇦🇺Day 3, although the day started with a bit of wind, we finally had some sun, which made crossing the Tasmanian rainforests have a magical touch.

🇦🇷 Día 2 de la travesia por Tasmania, el clima mejoro un poco, tuvimos lluvia pero mejor temepratura que el dia anterior, llegando al campamento de Windemere nos encontramos con un wombat que poco le importo que caminemos al lado de él.
🇦🇺Day 2 of the Overland trak, the weather improved a bit, we had rain but better temperature than the previous day, arriving at the Windemere camp we came across a wombat that didn't seem to mind us walking next to it.

🇦🇺 Bennetts Wallaby, we met this chill creature at the start of our overland track adventures in Tasmania, Bennett’s wallabies have thick fur that helps them handle Tasmania’s cooler climate, even being active in chilly, wet conditions. And they spend a huge part of their day grazing on grasses, leaves, and bark, constantly fueling those powerful hopping legs.
🇦🇷El ualabí de Bennett, nos cruzamos con esta criatura tan tranquila al comienzo de nuestras aventuras por la Overland Track en Tasmania. Los ualabíes de Bennett tienen un pelaje grueso que les ayuda a soportar el clima más frío de Tasmania, incluso manteniéndose activos en condiciones frías y húmedas. Pasan gran parte del día pastando hierbas, hojas y corteza, lo que les proporciona la energía necesaria para dar saltos con fuerza.

🇦🇷Breve interrupción en la programación de fotos de Antártida. Con tuvimos la oportunidad de caminar la W en Torres del Paine con para año nuevo, acá dejo algunas fotos y próximamente volvemos a la programación Antartica habitual 😅
🇬🇧Brief interruption on our Antarctic photo schedule. With we had the opportunity to hike the W trail in Torres del Paine with on New Year, these are some of the pics from that trip and soon we’ll be back to our usual Antarctic posting 😅.
