Last year, I disappeared.
I was planning my own wedding when I tore my ACL and fractured my knee. Six months of reeducation. No surgery in the end, thankfully. Add international paperwork to marry a Swiss man, and Instagram simply stopped mattering.
For the first time, I wasn’t behind the lens. I was the bride.
And I felt the pressure.
The opinions over small decisions.
The commentary.
The unexpected pivot when our venue cancelled two months before the wedding.
It ended up being even better than our first plan.
But what stayed with me wasn’t the stress. It was the realization of how much strength it takes to hold a vision.
I’m back. Not to post daily. Not for the algorithm.
But to share work that feels intentional.
I see my couples differently now.
And I protect their space accordingly.
