My first time in Bulgaria, testing the new electric-assisted and Diesel mild-hybrid TOYOTA HILUX pickup! 🇧🇬
I’ve always thought pickups were cool, but living in the city of Zurich, I don’t really have a practical use for one.
That’s why I was super excited to test the Hilux in its natural habitat—driving through mud, over rocks, and even through deep water crossings, despite the battery system being mounted underneath.
But who will actually drive an electrified Hilux? For businesses, construction workers, foresters, utility companies, and other professionals who need a tough work vehicle, the hybrid versions could offer better fuel efficiency and lower emissions without sacrificing capability.
