Zak van Biljon Photographer & visual artist His work range from digital to analog with skills in contemporary advertising and modern art photography.

His main focus is the directorial handling of light – as shown in his recent art work, capture the world in infrared. The world seen in red and pink colours provides a new and impressive insight to reality as we know it.

The way we see the landscape has always evolved with the world around us.

Where 19th-century landscape painters responded to industrialisation, my work responds to the way we experience nature today.

I use colour as a language rather than a record of reality. By shifting colour, I hope to shift perception and invite a new way of seeing the landscapes we thought we knew.
