I like taking pictures of my Volkswagen T2 Campervan from 1972. Sometimes we travel together, sometimes we break down together.

But in the end of the day this car makes me see the world through a special lens.

Vrazje Jezero in Montenegro. Also called "The devils lake". They say that below the surface lies an ice castle where the devil and many other evil creatures live. You can feel its presence when you swim in it, as it is the coldest lake around. They also say, that boys and girls will be pulled into the depths by the devil if they ever dare to swim here.
All I can say, that the devil is neither interested in sheep or campers, since all of us have been well and alive the day after another beatiful night in Dormitor National park.

From a hilltop devils lake definitely looks special and is worth a visit regardless if the master of hell really took residency here or not.

We all love some cool shots of vans against beautiful landscapes, right?
But it is the feeling of the van giving us a home that makes us choose this lifestyle.
The moments where the van gets messy because we just came back from a swim in the ocean and we are just trying to switch into dry cloths. Or when it is a stormy night outside and the van gives us shelter. When we have cup of tea, play boardgames and feel cozy.

That's when we forget the crazy big world around us and realize that the small things really matter. That why we travel.

So today I will post two pictures that are not polished and not beautiful. But something raw and intimate instead.Something every vanlifer can relate to and the side we usually don't like to show.
