Some of my favorites from last year’s K+H elopement.

A year ago, this beautiful couple travelled from the United States to Switzerland to celebrate their marriage in the most intimate way.

Their elopement took them from the elegant Victoria-Jungfrau in Interlaken to the landscapes of Lauterbrunnen and, later, the beautiful turquoise waters of Blausee. They wanted their day to feel personal and unhurried, while still allowing them to experience and photograph some of the iconic places in Switzerland.

What I loved most about their day was that it never felt like they were simply visiting beautiful locations for photographs. Each place became part of the story: both the elegance of the hotel and the dramatic mountains and the swiss lakes Blausee.

Once again, thank you for trusting me to document such a meaningful day and for bringing me along for this little journey through Switzerland. It was a pleasure to be part of it, and somehow, a whole year has almost already passed. 🤍

To come back home with these stunning memories.

For photos like these. 🤍 and this is only their couple photoshoot from their wedding day.

Switzerland is one of those places where the scenery becomes part of your wedding day, dramatic Swiss Alps, elegant mountain venues, crystal-clear lakes and landscapes that feel almost cinematic.

For couples travelling from the United States, a destination wedding in Switzerland is about more than choosing a beautiful location. It’s about creating an unforgettable experience and having photographs that preserve not only how the day looked, but how it felt.

As a destination wedding photographer in Switzerland, I photograph weddings across the Swiss Alps, Lake Lucerne, Interlaken, Zermatt and beyond, combining an editorial and cinematic approach with genuine, candid moments.

If you’re planning a destination wedding in Switzerland and looking for a Switzerland wedding photographer to document it with elegance, emotion and a timeless feel, this is exactly what I love to create. ✨

Your wedding photos aren’t just about choosing the right photographer, but a combination of many decisions that you will take even months before your wedding day.

A big part of this is choosing the right photographer, trusting them and giving them the conditions to create their best work.

Here are the three biggest mistakes I see couples make around these conditions:

1. Not leaving enough time for your couple portraits.

This is the biggest one. If you only leave 10-20minutes, you’ll probably spend half of that walking between locations or simply taking a breath after the ceremony.

I always recommend at the very least 20 minutes, 30 minutes is ideal if you want great pictures but don’t want to miss out too much on your day; and if you’d like drone photos, add another 10–15 minutes. You can split it in two times as well. That way you can actually enjoy the moment instead of feeling rushed.

2. Not booking a second photographer when your wedding really needs one.

If you’re having 50+ guests, multiple locations, several things happening at the same time, if there is no planner or day coordinator, or you both want preparations covered, a second photographer can make a huge difference.

It allows us to capture both of your mornings, different angles during the ceremony, more candid guest moments, and ensures fewer important memories are missed.

3. Scheduling your portraits at the wrong time of day.

I get it, there is a timeline to meet, but light is everything when it comes to photography. And natural light is not the same at every moment of the day.

If possible, plan your couple session close to sunset or split it into two shorter sessions, one earlier for convenience and another during golden hour. The difference in the final gallery is often incredible.

Beautiful wedding photos are not luck, but a combination of many things, and, out of doubt, they’re about good planning.

Save this post for when you start building your wedding timeline.

Some weddings aren’t inspired by trends, but by stories, like F***y and Corentin’s wedding.

When these two told me they wanted their wedding to feel like it belonged in a fairytale, with little nods to the movies that have shaped them over the years, everything suddenly made sense. And honestly… I couldn’t imagine a better place than Schloss Schadau.

There’s something about Schloss Schadau that has the fairy tale vibe. The old stone walls, the lake, the gardens, the soft light through the trees… it doesn’t need much. It already looks like the setting of a story waiting to happen.

Because I knew the atmosphere mattered just as much as the moments themselves, I approached the day a little differently. I avoided using flash whenever I could, letting the natural light do the work. It gave the images a softer, more organic feeling, with the kind of rich, cinematic colors that remind me of scenes from classic films rather than traditional wedding photography.

I love (and believe in) adapting the way I photograph every wedding instead of forcing every couple into the same style. Your story, your inspirations, the places you love, they should all shape the final gallery.

Looking back at these images, I don’t just see a wedding at Schloss Schadau. I see a story that feels timeless, as if it could have existed decades ago or a hundred years from now.

And I feel that’s exactly what they hoped for. Thanks again for your trust!

As a film wedding photographer in Switzerland, I’m often asked why I still choose to bring film to a wedding when digital cameras have become so advanced. The answer has a bit to do with nostalgia, but I also feel that Film changes the way I see.

It slows me down. It makes every frame more intentional. Every click matters.

Digital gives me the freedom to capture every fleeting moment, the tears during your vows, your grandmother’s smile, the way your partner looks at you when they think no one is watching.

Film invites me to create something different.

Images with depth, texture, and an honesty that’s difficult to describe until you see them. That’s why I don’t believe it’s a choice between film or digital.

The most meaningful wedding galleries have room for both.

As a wedding photographer, I love blending film wedding photography with digital to create galleries that feel timeless, emotional, and true to the way your wedding day actually felt.

Whether I’m documenting an intimate elopement in the Alps or a destination wedding overlooking Lake Lucerne, my goal is always the same: to create photographs that still feel like memories decades from now. And I believe 35mm film has become a beautiful way of completing and improving the memories I deliver.

Some places simply have a kind of magic that’s impossible to explain.

Villa Arconati is one of them.

Walking through its gardens, surrounded by centuries of history, you can’t help but slow down and take it all in. Every room, every archway, every ray of light feels like it belongs in a story.

Italy has a way of making everything feel a little more romantic, and it’s easy to see why so many couples choose it for their destination wedding.

Capturing moments in places like this is exactly why I love what I do. Quiet moments, beautiful light, genuine emotions… that’s always what stays with me long after the day is over.

If you’re planning a destination wedding in Italy, whether it’s at Villa Arconati or another beautiful Italian villa, I’d love to be part of it.

One thing I’ve learned after photographing proposals in Switzerland: no matter how perfectly you plan everything, the weather always likes to keep things interesting.

On the morning of this proposal at Villa Honegg, the forecast wasn’t looking great. Thankfully, with Alessandra from Swiss Proposal Planner behind the planning, there was always a backup ready.

In the end, the rain never came.

The proposal took place indoors just in case, and then, they got the most beautiful evening. An unforgettable sunset, and a proposal they’ll be talking about for the rest of their lives.

These are the moments I love documenting, not just the big “yes”, but everything around it: the anticipation, the relief, the excitement, and the quiet moments afterward when it all starts to feel real.

If you’re dreaming of proposing in Switzerland, my inbox is open. 🤍

I believe wedding photography should be more than a record of a day.

It should feel like a collection of memories, filled with emotion, atmosphere, beauty, and meaning. The kind of pictures that make you feel like you’re stepping back into a scene from a movie.

But cinematic doesn’t mean sacrificing authenticity. And beautiful doesn’t mean staged.

My goal is to create photographs that feel both effortless and refined: honest moments captured with intention, artistry, and an editorial eye.

My work is deeply influenced by cinema, painting, architecture, and color theory, but above all, by people and their stories.

Pictures that allow you to remember not only how everything looked, but how it felt to be there.

For couples who value beauty, connection, and experiences worth remembering.

Welcome, I’m Gloria. ♡
