behind the lens: Thomas Kopp
Der People-Fotograf aus Bern stellte dieses Jahr zum ersten Mal an der photoSCHWEIZ aus. Seit zweieinhalb Jahren arbeitet er im Teilpensum selbstständig als Fotograf, ein Schritt, der einiges an Investitionen verlangt hat.
Als sich die Chance bot, beim photoSCHWEIZ Wettbewerb ein brandneues iPhone 17 Pro zu gewinnen, zögerte er deshalb nicht lange:
„Ich hätte eigentlich schon längst ein neues Handy gebraucht. Doch ich entschied mich lieber, an der photoSCHWEIZ 2026 auszustellen.“
Eine Entscheidung, die sich gelohnt hat, denn per Zufall wurde er zum Gewinner des Wettbewerbs gezogen.

The portrait photographer from Bern exhibited at photoSCHWEIZ for the first time this year. He has been working part-time as a freelance photographer for two and a half years, a move that required a significant investment.
So when the chance arose to win a brand-new iPhone 17 Pro in the photoSCHWEIZ competition, he didn’t hesitate for long:
“I actually needed a new phone a long time ago. But I decided to exhibit at photoSCHWEIZ 2026 instead.”
A decision that paid off, as he was randomly selected as the winner of the competition.
