Real goals give you energy.
False goals drain you.

Your path is revealed by open doors — not by force, obsession, or suffering.
Stop pushing locked doors.
Say yes to the ones that open with ease.

Your heart chooses the goal.
Life chooses the door.
You just walk.

Lately, I’ve been a little more offline.
Not disappearing — just… recalibrating.

Family dynamics shifted.
And with that, my creative rhythm is shifting too.

I’m learning to listen more carefully:
What’s still mine?
What’s no longer aligned?
Where are the doors actually opening?

So I’m giving myself space to reset —
without forcing clarity before it’s ready.

I’ll be back when it feels right.
Not sooner, not louder. Just… aligned.

In the meantime, I’m still here.
Working, creating, shooting — just a little quieter.

I’m Transylvanian. I’ve spent my whole life being asked if I have fangs. 🙄

This spring I took my daughter during our trip to Romania to Bran Castle and gave her the actually-true version. Buckle up.

Vlad III — „Drăculea“ (translated Son of the Dragon - after his father) ruled Wallachia three times and defended his people against the Ottoman Empire with methods so extreme they became legend. To Romanians he is not a horror story. He is a national hero. Complex, brutal, politically brilliant — and entirely real. Bram Stoker borrowed his name and Hollywood did the rest.

The man deserves better than a Halloween costume.

But the women of Bran are the story I really wanted my daughter to know.

Queen Marie of Romania — granddaughter of both Queen Victoria and Tsar Alexander II — arrived in Romania at 17, barely speaking the language, and spent the next four decades becoming one of the most consequential figures in the country’s history. She nursed soldiers on the front lines during WWI, then went personally to the Paris Peace Conference in 1919 and lobbied for Transylvania’s unification with Romania. She received Bran as a gift from the city of Brașov in 1920 and transformed it into an extraordinary royal residence. She wrote 22 books. When she died she asked for her heart to be buried separately — it was moved twice and only properly reinterred in 2015. Her heart had more of a journey than most people have in a lifetime.

Her daughter Princess Ileana grew up here, ran a field hospital during WWII, was given 24 hours to leave Romania when the communists took power, raised six children in exile, and eventually became an Orthodox nun founding a monastery in Pennsylvania. She never came back. She died in 1991, just as Romania was finding its way back to itself.

This is the history I want my daughter to carry. She is Swiss-Romanian-English — Switzerland is her first home, Romania her second, England where more family lives. On this trip we went deep into one of them — and she left knowing exactly whose shoulders she stands on.

Von der Konzeptentwicklung über die Koordination von Styling, Hair & Makeup bis hin zur Modellauswahl – alles wurde präzise auf das Budget abgestimmt, ohne am erstklassigen Ergebnis zu sparen. Mein Ziel ist ein Marken-Toolkit, das genauso hart arbeitet wie meine Klienten.

From conceptualizing the visual narrative to coordinating the stylist, hair and makeup, and models—everything was tailored to fit the budget without compromising on the premium result. Die Magie beginnt schon vor dem ersten Klick. Durch die Unterstützung von Stylisten und Hair- & Makeup-Profis konnte mein Klient voll und ganz in die Expertenrolle schlüpfen.

This branding session wasn't just about new photos for articles and prospects; it was about the confidence shift that happens when you look as professional as you work. The magic happens before the shutter even clicks. By involving a professional stylist and MUA, we allowed my client to step fully into their role as an expert.
