ME AT THE PIER with the new OM SYSTEM OM-1. For me, places like this are great to get your head free from all the noise.

The built in ND filters of the OM SYSTEM cameras was always one of my favorite features and in the new OM-1 they added the ND64. A step more into a creative freedom without compromises!

Finally I can talk about the new OM SYSTEM camera the OM-1. I would like to thank OM Digital Solutions for given me the opportunity to test the camera in wildlife photography. The camera is absolutely amazing!

My first photo that I want to share with you is this picture of a fox. It was the end of a long day in the mountains, the battery of the OM-1 was already blinking red. There was no time to think I and to adjust every setting….so I just put the ISO to ISO 5000 and did the shot. That was an unexpected and emotional moment for me.

I was kneeling on a slope with two cameras/lenses in the dark, that was only possible thanks to the small and light system from OM SYSTEM (Olympus). I was holding my E-M1X with the 40-150mm F2.8 PRO lens and I knew that for my dreamshot he came to close. Immediately I was able to take a second camera that was hanging around my shoulder and shoot the picture with the wide-angle lens.

After hiking two hours in the dark, I was rewardet with this view! This blue tones and layers looked almost unreal, I couldn't believe it myself if I wouldn't have been there and capture this moment.
