Endlich ist sie da: die lang ersehnte Firmware für die SEACAM Nikkor RS Conversion R-UW 13 mm und R-UW 28 mm Objektiv. Jetzt erhältlich als dezidierte Firmware.
Ich empfehle dir, die beiden Firmwares zu installieren, die auf den Monsteradapter LA-FZ1 passen. Die jeweilige Firmware unterstützt ausschließlich das entsprechende Objektiv. Kein anderes Objektiv wird unterstützt. Beim LA-FZ1 kann die Firmware beliebig installiert werden, auch rückwärts. Das heißt, man kann immer die jeweilige Firmware installieren, die man für das verwendete Objektiv braucht. Dies ist eine erste Version, die einen experimentellen Charakter hat. Ich kann bestätigen, dass diese bereits getestet wurden. Die Firmware für das RS 13 mm ist gut, das 28 mm funktioniert am Adapter noch nicht so gut wie gewünscht.
Ingma Pictures ist als europäischer Distributor seit Anfang an fest entschlossen, zusammen mit MonsterAdapter einen Adapter auf den Markt zu bringen, der die RS-Konversion von Seacam auf den Z-Kameras von Nikon nutzbar macht. Die Veröffentlichung des LA-FZ1 im letzten Sommer hat die Voraussetzungen für die Hardware geschaffen. Die Programmierung der Firmware für die SEACAM RS-Objektive hat mehr Aufwand verursacht als erwartet.
Mit dieser ersten Version machen wir diese Objektive für dich nutzbar. Wir erwarten eine große Unterstützung und entsprechende Rückmeldungen von euch als Anwender. Wir lassen diese in die Entwicklung der finalen Version der Firmware einfließen.

It’s finally here: the long-awaited firmware for the SEACAM Nikkor RS Conversion R-UW 13 mm and R-UW 28 mm lenses. Now available as dedicated firmware. I recommend installing both firmware versions, which are compatible with the LA-FZ1 monster adapter. Each firmware version supports only the corresponding lens. No other lenses are supported. With the LA-FZ1, the firmware can be installed in any order, even in reverse. This means you can always install the specific firmware required for the lens you’re using. This is an initial version with an experimental nature. I can confirm that these have already been tested. The firmware for the RS 13mm works well, but the 28mm doesn’t yet function as well as desired on the adapter.
As a European distributor, Ingma Pictures has been determined from the very beginning to work with MonsterAdapter to bring an adapter to market that enables the use of Seacam’s RS conversion on Nikon Z-series cameras. The release of the LA-FZ1 last summer laid the groundwork for the hardware. Programming the firmware for the SEACAM RS lenses required more effort than expected.
With this first version, we’re making these lenses usable for you. We’re looking forward to your support and feedback as users. We’ll incorporate this into the development of the final firmware version.
