“Guys, there is a pangolin!” I will never forget when Mark Winckler grabbed my shoulder and uttered these words. We were struggling with leopards for a few days. Luck started to turn when we had Mambo the female leopard sleeping in a bush. Fortunately she got up just before sunrise and stood on a dead log. After the sun had set, she moved into the forest and something caught her attention. I was totally focused on the leopardess when Mark spotted the pangolin. Just magic seeing Mambo in the back looking at the pangolin.
