Wind of change
The past is only a collection of memories we cannot change. The future is a realm of dreams and plans that have not yet come to life. It is these dreams that give us hope when reality seems gray and monotonous. The desire to pursue your goals and dreams brings a wind of change, a breath of fresh air, and new opportunities.

No address/sweat stains, 2025

"June 17th, I believe it was Saturday in the afternoon.  There is a skatepark that won't show up on your gps in Milwaukee, where people sweat, elbow a buddy after they said something stupid, drink and share cigs during dusk and oft until 4 am.  Sometimes the lone wolf skaters will work on their footwork for hours, and sometimes other visitors collect in this spot at the skatepark with no address, but we know where it is.  It's difficult to put into words the kind of solace that gathers here.

This photo was taken during a hangout-skate-party celebrating the fifth anniversary of National DIY.  I was asked to document the event among other creatives.  Underneath the highway's belly of an underpass.

Recently the spot has been reworked by two best friends who have vested time and effort into the project, along with many others who volunteered time and funds into the architecture of the place- along with murals and trash cans and a beautiful iron fence placed over top of the chain fence that blocks off the road.  This wind tunnel where bruises are made and shins split, is a home with no walls."

Steps Through Time

This photo was taken in a small village near M’hamid El Ghizlane where people still live among the ruins of an old kasbah. As we passed through, I saw these two kids, likely on their way home from school, and took the shot. The scene reflects how daily life continues in a place shaped by history.

"Make Me Famous"
I was strolling through the Grand Bazaar on a warm summer day, when this man looked over at me, saw my camera, and said, "Take my photo. Make me famous." As someone who is at the beginning of her photography journey, my photographs don't reach that many people. This is my opportunity to make his wish come true.

A Co**se With A Cigarette

This Image was inspired by the early 2000's party scene. Alex, my model, has always struck me as someone who embodies that. I needed an image with plenty of contrast for a drawing assignment, so i asked her to model for me. This image has always stood out to me. It conveys the desperate need to feel something other than fear.

Migrant Worker
The story behind Migrant Worker is deeply personal and speaks to the larger struggles faced by many migrant workers. It centers on Rosa Villalpando, whose life has been defined by years of hard, unrelenting fieldwork. When I first met Rosa, her quiet strength immediately caught my attention. Despite the visible exhaustion from the day's labor, her face radiated determination. She was a woman who had worked tirelessly, and it showed in the deep lines on her face and the weariness in her eyes, but there was no resignation—only a steadfast sense of duty to provide for her family.

The photo was taken during a brief moment of stillness on a long, grueling day. Rosa stood tall, her posture reflecting both the weight of her physical fatigue and a profound sense of self-respect. In that brief pause, I saw the complexity of her emotions—exhaustion, pride, and a quiet resolve. The composition, with Rosa at the center, was intentional. I wanted viewers to focus solely on her, to feel the depth of her experience, and to recognize the strength that underpins her struggle.

While this image is of a single individual, it tells the story of countless migrant workers who face similar hardships. Rosa’s story is one of sacrifice, resilience, and hope, just like so many others who labor in fields, factories, or other demanding jobs in pursuit of a better life. Migrant Worker invites viewers to consider the emotional and physical toll of this labor, as well as the dignity that migrant workers bring to their work despite the often-invisible burdens they carry.

Ultimately, the photograph aims to show the humanity behind the labor and spark conversations about social justice, inequality, and empathy. Through Rosa’s gaze, I hope to remind the world that migrant workers are not just faces in a crowd—they are individuals with stories, sacrifices, and the quiet strength to endure.

WEHO Halloween, 2024, I took this picture last year on Halloween, my first time attending the West Hollywood Halloween Parade. The event had been shut down for years due to the COVID-19 pandemic, so I was especially excited to finally experience it. My mom had always told me great things about it, and I couldn’t wait to see it for myself.

More than anything, I was eager to photograph the people in their costumes. Halloween has always held a special place in my heart because of the way it transforms people—how it gives them permission to be bold, uninhibited, and free. For one night, you get to wear something you’d never put on any other day and fully embrace a different side of yourself.

I’ve always been drawn to photographing people candidly, capturing their essence and seeing how confident they truly are. The photos I took that night, especially this one, are some of my favorites. You can see how completely this person is feeling themself—like, for that moment, they were the only person on Santa Monica Blvd.

CULTIVATING A BRIGHTER FUTURE - [The inspiring Teenagers of YOI International NGO]

I had the privilege of capturing the stories of these incredible teenagers, who have overcome unimaginable challenges. I was on the rice farm with leader of the NGO and his team who were on the farm working, later these teenagers joined after closing from school. Some of these teenagers were rescued from child trafficking and supported by YOI International, they are now thriving on this farm located at Dove in the Volta region of Ghana about 10 minutes drive away from Ada and the farm is owned by the NGO to help support these kids. On the farm they are learning valuable skills, building confidence, learning teamwork and building a brighter future. Every bundle of rice they gather represents a new beginning, a chance to heal and cultivate resilience. As I snapped away, I witnessed their resilience, determination, and joy. The photo shows these teenagers loading the boat which will be transported to the other side of the river. Through my lens, I saw hope, redemption, and a new beginning. These teenagers are proof that with love, support, and opportunity, anyone can rise above their circumstances and achieve greatness. I’m humbled to share their story from the farm, one frame at a time. I had an amazing time hanging out with these kids.

The geometry moment
She was sitting at a nearby table with a small coffee, and everything suddenly came together in a bizarre geometric composition, suddenly revealing the surreality of what was happening.
