ℹ Hamalia Patens heeft oranje/rood buisvormige nectar bloemetjes. Deze staafjes zijn zo zoet en trekken daarom veel nectar etende insecten aan, ook de mieren.

ℹ Hamelia Patens has orange-red, tubular flowers that attract numerous hummingbirds and butterflies. The nectar of this plant is particularly sweet, making it a favorite of these nectar drinkers. Other birds come to pick the fruits of the hamelia Patens or hunt the insects that attack the plant.
