I realized I love a good door photo, I honestly don’t know why… maybe it’s the Wes Anderson love in me but there is just something about a stunning door, framed by windows or foliage that draws me in. I always wonder what kind of life is going on behind the door. Is anyone else this way? Every time I see a home, especially at night all lit up I think about the people inside and the life they are living.

The sweetest mother/daughter trio 🩷🌹
This day was magical! I had so much fun with these three and when they left I stayed at the garden for a little while. I was sitting on a bench when a little boy walked up to me and whispered “can you please smell the roses?” It made me so happy and I of course leaned over to the nearest flowers and smelled them. Kids really teach us to slow down and enjoy life, stop and smell the roses if you will.

I arrived in Oregon one year ago today after driving across the entire country! It has been an incredible year and I find myself feeling more and more grateful that I get to call this place home. Oregon has captured my heart completely and these photos are just a small snapshot of a fantastic year! It was scary moving here without knowing what to expect but I am really glad I took the risk and it has seriously paid off. I am beyond excited to see what this next year brings 🤍

Arrived in Oregon one year ago today! I can’t believe how much this place feels like home. I was driving around today running errands and I was looking at all the mountains that surround the valley I live in and it just makes me feel really grateful to see that kind of beauty in my day to day life. I love it here so much and it was kind of a crazy risk to move here but I’m really glad we did it! 🤍
