Aí Pessoal,
Antes demais, espero que todo mundo esteja de sa¿ude e bem nestes tempos de Corona.
Finalmente esse projecto enorme de oferecer uma documentaÇão para a posterioridade do I Festival Internacional de Percussão Tambores do Mundo - Edição Cabo Verde está terminado.

Toda a informação pode ser acedido no site que foi feito para o Festival.
Levou mais tempo do que estava a espera mas penso que terão uma referencia de que se podem orgulhar.

Quero agradecer pela vossa compreensão e pelo vossa bom axé, o que me motivou muito no desenvolvimento e realização tato do livro como do website.

Workshop in Drum making, part of the social and cultural program of Tambores do Mundo Festival taking place in Praia- St. Tiago Island - Cape Verde.

The African percussion rhythms and dances were forbidden during the Portuguese enslavement and colonization.
Raising awareness of the rich and diverse African heritage and reintroducing the drums and percussion rhythms into Capeverdian culture and musicre are completed with the creation of the Kriolo Batuke School/Factory that makes and sell drums.
Under the experienced teaching of Mestre Kwame Gamal and Walter Künzi, members of eight percussion groups participated in the workshops in the Technical School Cesaltina Ramos in Acheda Santo Antônio, Praia.
