Gotthard am Seaside Festival 2026 / Spiez - CH

Tja, im Juni habe ich noch gesagt : Jetzt muss ich schon nach Schweden fliegen um Gotthard zu fotografieren :-)

Nun war es am schönen Seaside Festival tatsächlich das dritte mal in 9 Wochen, dass ich die Schweizer Legenden vor die Linse bekomme.

Irrerweise waren es in Spiez auch aus meiner Sicht - die besten Fotovorraussetzungen, da noch Tageslicht herrschte.
Zur Show muss ich nicht viel sagen. Ich habe sie in Schweden am Time to Rock gesehen, am Riverside 2026 und jetzt am Seaside Festival. Was ich nach wie vor sicher sagen kann, dass die Crowd in der Schweiz deutlich stärker ist. Sehr geil.

Die Show war gewohnt geil. Von älteren Chartbreakern hinweg über Songs wie Burning Bridges - war alles dabei. Solide bzw. saustark geliefert und auch der Spass war den Jungs mal wieder Maßgeblich auf die Nasenspitze gezeichnet.
Es war mir eine Ehre, diese - im postiven Sinne - sehr speziellen Momente - auf Fotos festhalten zu dürfen. Vielen Dank dafür.

Gotthard at the Seaside Festival 2026 / Spiez - CH

Well, back in June I said: “Now I have to fly all the way to Sweden just to photograph Gotthard :-)”

And now, at the wonderful Seaside Festival, it was actually the third time in nine weeks that I got to capture these Swiss legends on camera.

Strangely enough, from my perspective, the conditions in Spiez were actually the best for photography, since there was still daylight.
I don’t need to say much about the show. I saw them in Sweden at Time to Rock, at Riverside 2026, and now at the Seaside Festival. What I can still say for sure is that the crowd in Switzerland is way more energetic. Really awesome.

The show was awesome as usual. From older chart-toppers to songs like “Burning Bridges”—they played it all. They delivered a solid, or rather, killer performance, and once again, the guys were clearly having a blast.
It was an honor for me to be able to capture these—in a positive sense—very special moments in photos. Thank you very much for that.

Konzertbericht D'OR am Riverside Festival 2026

Samstag, 22.08.2026 - nach einem verregneten Vortag brannte am Samstag schon wieder die Sonne vom Himmel. Zur Mittagszeit war das Infield noch relativ überschaubar gefüllt, was sich aber schnell ändern sollte.

Um Punkt 14:25 betraten unsere Freunde von D`OR die Bühne und bewiesen mit einem Vollgasstart sofort, dass sie genau auf diese großen Bühnen gehören.
Das Outfit der Jungs an diesem Tag wirft bei mir noch immer ein paar Fragezeichen auf, aber das soll hier weiter keine Rolle spielen ^^
Mit Songs wie "Shapeshifter", "Her name was Alice" und vielen vielen weiteren Brettern, konnte man beobachten, wie sich das Infield sehr wohl - nach und nach mehr füllte.

Das die Band dabei selbst offensichtlich sehr viel Spass hatte, macht sie umso symphatischer.

Fazit: Geile Show, die unbedingt nach Wiederholung schreit.

Concert Review: D'OR at the Riverside Festival 2026

Saturday, August 22, 2026—After a rainy day the day before, the sun was blazing down from the sky again on Saturday. Around noon, the infield was still relatively sparsely filled, but that was about to change quickly.

At exactly 2:25 p.m., our friends from D’OR took the stage and immediately proved, with a full-throttle start, that they truly belong on these big stages.
The guys’ outfits that day still leave me with a few questions, but that’s not really important here ^^

With songs like “Shapeshifter,” “Her Name Was Alice,” and many, many more bangers, you could see the infield gradually filling up more and more.

The fact that the band was obviously having a lot of fun themselves makes them all the more likable.

Bottom line: An awesome show that absolutely cries out for a repeat performance.

Konzertbericht - Ellis Mano Band - Seaside Festival 2026

Nach einem kranheitsbedingten Freitag meinerseits, welcher zudem auch noch veregnet war - kam ich am Samstag Mittag bei schönstem Wetter in Spiez an. Dank Zugverspätung kurz vor knapp, aber um etwa 20 Minuten vor 14 Uhr betrat ich das Medienzelt. Gerade noch rechtzeitig um die Ellis Mano Band fotografieren zu können.

Freunde, eine Kulisse, die im Himmel nicht schöner sein kann.
Kameras zusammen gesetzt und ab ging es in den Fotograben - das Infield war noch verhalten gefüllt.

Bluesrock, was erwartet mich da ? Bin ich doch eher ein Freund der härteren Riffs.
So geschah es, dass die Jungs die Bühne betraten und gleich von Anfang an eine chillige Show hinlegten. Versteht mich nicht falsch, die Band hat Vollgas gegeben, aber der Sound war chillig.
Was folgte, war eine Bühnenpräsenz von Profis.
Musiker, die Ihr Werk verstehen und durch Ihren Auftritt und die Musik einen klaren Wiedererkennungswert besitzen dürften.

Gleich zu Anfang wurde der Song "Whiskey" zum besten gegeben und man merkte in gefühltem Sekundentakt, dass sich das Infield füllte. Weiter ging es mit Songs wie "Scars", "20 Years" und vielen vielen anderen.
Jungs, mega geile Show und nach dem ganzen Zugstress tatsächlich beruhigend.

Fazit :
Es muss nicht immer der harte Riff sein. Geil eingespielte Truppe, die das Publikum geflasht hat und einen der Fotografen ebenso.
Macht weiter so und meldet Euch gern mal - wir sehen uns "no so gärn" wieder.

Concert Review - Ellis Mano Band - Seaside Festival 2026

After a Friday spent in bed due to illness—which, to make matters worse, was also rainy—I arrived in Spiez on Saturday at noon to beautiful weather. Thanks to a train delay, I made it just in the nick of time, and at about 20 minutes before 2 p.m., I entered the media tent. Just in time to take photos of the Ellis Mano Band.

Guys, a backdrop that couldn’t be more beautiful—it looked like heaven.
I set up my cameras and headed into the photo pit—the infield was still only sparsely filled.

Blues rock—what’s in store for me here? I’m usually more of a fan of heavier riffs.
So it happened that the guys took the stage and put on a laid-back show right from the start. Don’t get me wrong—the band went all out, but the sound was chill.
What followed was a stage presence befitting true professionals.
Musicians who know their craft and are sure to be instantly recognizable thanks to their performance and their music.

Right at the start, they kicked things off with the song “Whiskey,” and you could feel the infield filling up almost by the second. They continued with songs like “Scars,” “20 Years,” and many, many others.
Guys, an absolutely awesome show—and actually really soothing after all the train stress.

Conclusion:
It doesn’t always have to be heavy riffs. A tight-knit band that blew the audience away—and one of the photographers, too.

Das wird dann doch noch eine eidgenössische Woche. Eigentlich war das anders geplant. Ein kleiner Einblick in den Plan : Dienstag - Ellis Mano Band. Mittwoch: D'OR, Donnerstag oder Freitag dann doch nochmal nen Gotthard Part.
