One morning. One moment. One sunbeam caught between two people in love.

Meeting for the first time in the stillness of dark, we chased the light into the Swiss Alps.

We didn’t speak the same language, but I was reminded that language isn’t everything when there’s shared intention, kindness, and trust.

Created these adorable portraits with my kiddies today using my newly set up photo studio. Loved playing around with lighting and having fun with the post processing of these images. This is a canvas hand painted backdrop that I did by myself in South Africa in 2004(might be 2005). Apart from absolutely loving these two cuties more than anything in this world, I love the way this backdrop handles black and white as well as colour.
