Weekend walk by the lake...

I don't quite know what it is...but I have this fascination with watching people whilst on the train to or from work.

Even worse, if the subject in front of me is captivating or holds some form of intrigue or beauty, I cannot help myself and find that I end up walking away with a shot of them.

I just find people fascinating. For example in this first series I had a beautiful Muslim lady, a porcelain doll- like Chinese woman who slept soundly and a striking Indian man, who was on the phone or at times seemed to be meditating.

We live in such interesting times where we can meet people from any walk of life hailing from far flung places. We don't pay attention half the time, which I find sad.

Growing up in HK and Manila I was constantly surrounded by international people. I am truly grateful I had that opportunity which helped shape who I am and understand and respect different cultures.
