Yesterday’s news, transformed into something unforgettable. ⁠

Award-winning photographer and SPC Academy alumna Stefie VB - Photographer turned 50 editions of discarded newspapers and magazines into a spectacular gown, complete with eleven layers of paper and a 1.5-metre train. Then she waited for the perfect light near the solstice and shot these amazing portraits.⁠

Created for the 2026 Earth Partner Prize, the project explores waste, consumption and the value we give to the things we throw away. It was featured in the newspaper La Côte and awarded 1st place at the Legacy Photography Awards. ⁠

We are so proud of everything Stéphanie has accomplished since graduating from SPC Academy. Her many awards, and the success she has found as a wedding and portrait photographer, are a testament to her talent and work ethic. And we are so pleased to see her succeed.⁠

Un grand merci à notre jury, qui a sélectionné les Top 50 photos qui seront imprimées en grand format. Ils ont passé ali peigne fin des centaines de photos, évaluant chaque photo pour ses compétences techniques et sa valeur artistique. Ce n'était pas une mince affaire !

Toutes les photos soumises seront exposées à la galerie Renaissance du 3 au 12 septembre et nous avons hâte de vous les présenter. L'entrée est libre et gratuit. Venez jeudi 3.09 entre 17-20h pour le vernissage.

D'ailleurs, nos jurés ne sont pas seulement des photographes de grand talent : ce sont aussi d'excellents formateurs. Un style vous interpelle ?

33 Mal: Schweiz, Deutschland, Österreich.
photo ist kein neues Gesicht bei den SPC Photo Awards. Er ist ein Treues.

Und jedes Mal bringt er etwas mit, das bleibt.

Dieses Mal (Februar in Zürich), ein schwarz-Weiss-Porträt, dass den Appenzeller Silvesterklaus einfängt. Eine Tradition, die jedes Jahr wiederkommt, genau wie Franz. 💛

Für sein früheres Werk in Genf würde er mit dem Jury Preis ausgezeichnet.

Wir sind immer wieder froh, seine Bilder zu sehen, und noch froher, sie zu teilen.
