I still can’t believe it: Lens & Sensibility is turning 10, and I’ll be sharing my story here over the coming days. You don’t need to lose weight first. You don’t need clear skin, or a “glow,” or to feel your most confident. You just need to be pregnant, right now, in this body that is doing something incredible. Every mama-to-be deserves to have this season of her life captured in a way that feels emotive, artistic, and truly hers. I see, feel, and capture all the beauty we mamas sometimes don’t allow ourselves to see.

¡Hoy cumplo años! Y la ocasión se merece aparecer por aquí con estas fotos que me hizo Philippe en Creta. La cifra empieza a ser vertiginosa. Son ya 48 años que tengo la suerte de disfrutar de esta vida que tanto valoro; tantos momentos maravillosos, a veces teñidos de dolor, pero igual de maravillosos, por el simple hecho de poder ser vividos. No os voy a engañar: aunque por dentro me siento igual que cuando tenía 30 (en realidad, muchísimo mejor), la imagen en el espejo no es fácil de aceptar todos los días, las arrugas aparecen en un abrir y cerrar de ojos y el proceso de aceptación todavía no lo tengo dominado. Aun así, nunca había estado mejor: estoy sana, he encontrado en el deporte la manera de controlar la ansiedad, tengo una familia preciosa, me encanta mi trabajo, y tantas cosas más que dejan las arrugas a la altura del betún… Ojalá este nuevo año sea bueno conmigo. Yo, por si acaso, pienso disfrutar al máximo cada momento🤍
