Catching up on some posts! This lovely session with and her family was from August! Valentine was the winner of a Instagram draw I did with and , we chose a random follower and gifted a photo session at the farm! I loved this session and what a beautiful kind family. They even tolerated my crummy french! Thank you for a fun evening, looking forward to our next session together!

Mother’s Day is a day to give thanks. It is not a happy day for all, as many have lost their mothers, or have lost children. For the sacrifices of all who identify as mothers or have been mothers, for the pain and joy, the hard times and the times of flow- its all there and it all counts. Thank you to all mothers, fathers, partners, co parents, surrogates, doctors, nurses, caretakers, grandparents and teachers who spend all day every day birthing, feeding, teaching, nurturing and raising, as best they can, our Earth’s past and next generations of humans. We love you and respect you and know your worth.

I met with some amazing artists this morning - fascinating women with big stories and rich bodies of work. I did not get to see all of their work this am but hope to learn more about them soon. My friend .ch is one such glorious person whom I am happy to know and I am grateful that she was there to introduce us all.
