Let's imagine a situation like this: 1950 you are being born. The main church of Your city is just going under renovation. Now, You are 67 years old and the same church is almost finished, however not yet. Can You believe that for Your entire life you are/were not able to see the Munster being not under construction? For me this is crazy. How many years can it take to finish renovating a Protestant church? Their architecture is not as complicated as Christians churches, inside they are much simpler.

Der Zibelemärit (Zwiebelmarkt) - a celebration of onion in Bern. It started around 5am. Already at 6am, the place was full of people. Thus, my sweet and lovely husband was not so happy.
Today all old town of Bern was transformed into one big market where people can buy onions, onion or cheese pie, garlic, confetti, hot wino, and sweets. This day for many citizens of Bern is like a "holiday". At my husband office only 40% of people are working today.
