Dufourspitze 🗻 A nice way to end the ski touring season, on top of the highest summit of Switzerland 🔝 The closed hut meant camping and carrying heavy packs, but the reward was worth the back pain 😄 Alone on these huge glaciers, surrounded by the 4000ers of the Monte Rosa massif, enjoying great views and a wild alpine atmoshpere 🤩

Four days around Monviso ⛷️🇮🇹 2|2 I've always wanted to do a ski trip in this part of the Alps, and it didn't disappoint! We were most of the time completely alone, just crossed a few other people ... and a wolf 🐺🥹 Long days finding our way through a beautiful landscape, old larches forests, endless valleys and wind blown passes ... wild! 🤩

Four days around Monviso ⛷️🇮🇹 1|2 Because of its massive shape and location, towering above the vast Po plain, this mountain seems to always attract clouds ... and a complicated weather! Strong winds and fresh snow made for a tricky avalanche situation, and after a very long first day dodging wind slabs, trying to find a safe col to cross to the next hut … we found ourselves further away than our starting point. A good introduction to the wild Southern Alps! 😅

My favourite type of tour 🗻 Climbing a ridge with skis on the back after a night in a bivy hut, beautiful views from an unpopular summit in one of the wildest areas of the Swiss Alps, no one else around, and a surreal atmosphere with the Sahara dust in the sky 🤩
