beehrten am letzen Freitagabend einmal mehr das KiFF mit ihrem virtuosen progressive Death Metal-Quintett. Zwei neue Lieder ihres kommenden Albums "Rivers of Nihil" wurden ebenso vorgetragen wie altbekannte Klassiker. Bestรผckt mit Live-Saxophon und massig Erfahrung zeigten sich Jungs aus Pennsylvania (US) in grandioser Spiellaune.
Als Tourmitstreiter dabei war eine tolle Mischung aus Prog Metal ( ) und dem doch eher technischen Death Metal ( und ) fรผr eine gute Ausgewogenheit besorgt.
Eine grossartige Organisation ( / ) und ein wahrlich aktives Publikum rundeten den Abend ab.

Als Geheimtipp verzauberte Natascha Polkรฉ als Opener fรผr Kiasmos am Samstagabend die Halle des X-tra.
Zweifelsfrei hรถrte man der talentierten Zรผrcherin an, das sie sich in frรผheren Jahren mit viel Indie und Folk Musik beschรคftigt hat. Jahrelang DJane (u.a. im Hive) und ein Master of Arts in Musik komplettieren dazu ihr Repertoir.

Sie bringt an diesem Abend einen frischen, trรคumerische leichten Wind in die Halle, welcher vom Publikum klatschend gewรผrdigt wird. Diese Leichtigkeit und die sichtbare Freude sind ihr bis zum Ende ins Gesicht geschrieben. Grosses Kompliment. Das war stark.

Kardashev decided to decend upon us on a live stage after EIGHT long years to honor us with their presence. A logistic miracle and many helping hands were needed. But they succeeded and flooded the present listeners with a mezmerizing and tear jerking 45 minutes of Deathgaze full of haunting riffs and crushing screams.
What made this experience even more dream like was the opportunity to work with them over these 4 days. Promo shooting, behind the scene footage, dinner with the lads. These days were truly some of the best i've ever had.
A big thanks goes to all people involved (Jenny, Cesar, Chris, Jackie and all the others) and the band itself.
Also...thank you Nico, Mark, Sean and Alex from the bottom of my heart for having me! Big big love to all of you.

2024 turned out to be very special and incredibly intense. Exhausting yet fruitful.
Many new friendships were made, yet some ties were cut.
My photography took a big hit while going "solo" for the first time.
On the other hand i couldn't even dream of all the moments which followed.
I took big steps with some of the most lovely people i've ever met all together.
Big thanks to all the human beeings which put their faith and money into my slowly growing abilities.

2025 is going to be as intense as 2024 was, probably even more.
Soon getting married to the one woman which stood next to me all this time. ๐Ÿ˜˜
Getting another daughter in spring as well.
Life is good.

I might make less content for the time beeing because family life always is and will be my first priority.
But that doesn't mean i'll be silent or won't take on any work.

If you're out there and in need of a photographer for whatever you've in mind...my DM's are always open. In 2025 and even more in 2026 and onwards.

Switzerlands post-rock pioneers (EST. 1995) finally released new music after 6 years with their new EP "Sapperlot". Their trademark style's is still hearable, but their soundscape has once bmore become richer in synth and atmosphere.
They played 90-plus-minutes of a best of set and celebrated music together with their loved ones and many post-rock-consisseurs.
