"What's Coming"

The weather on iceland is such a thing. End of the world mood, shortly afterwards hail which is already over after a few minutes and then the sun is shining again. Love it!

"Comet C/2023 A3 Tsuchinshan-ATLAS"

I'll also add my two cents here about this year's visible comet. The photo was planned and taken about 1 month ago. I was looking for a nice foreground with the comet passing by. After a long search, I found a place where I could show the Staufberg church with the comet. Unfortunately, the location was not suitable for tracking the starry sky/comet from there. So I decided to photograph the church first at dusk and then drive to a nearby hill to photograph the comet from there. The second picture shows a screenshot from the Planit Pro app where you can see the church and the comet.

"Aurora Nebula Part 1"

It was absolutely amazing to see the northern lights in Switzerland again. Of course the weather wasn't great and the views were rather poor. But it was definitely worth it. After this photo, I made my way further north, pictures to follow.

And no, that's not a scarecrow. 😂

Es war wieder absolut der hammer, die Nordlichter in der Schweiz zu sehen. Klar das Wetter war nicht richtig toll und die Aussichten eher schlecht als recht. Aber es hat sich definitiv gelohnt. Nach diesem Foto machte ich mich auf den Weg weiter richtung Norden, Bilder folgen.

Und nein das ist keine Vogelscheuche. 😂
