Picked up an Olympus Mju II three days before my trip to Norway and I’m so happy I did. A few rolls of Kodak Gold later, I captured some of my favorite shots while cycling around. So many times on the bike, I’d quickly grab the Olympus instead of my clunky digital one. Something about bikepacking and film just fits so well.. 🎞️✨

Long days on the bike, changing weather and plenty of rain along the coast of Norway. Out here, I appreciate having only what I need – an offline magnetic compass, real-time altimeter, storm alarm and months of battery life – with no distractions when bikepacking. The Suunto Core 2 is literally trimmed to its core, made for demanding conditions and focused on the essentials.

Moving frames from a month of bikepacking across Norway.

Many ups and many lows… mostly ups (especially the mountain passes). Lots of rain, which I ended up not capturing much. It felt easier to simply embrace the cold and wet and keep cycling through it without stopping. But those three weeks of rain made me appreciate the rare sunny days even more. Nothing to complain. 🌞

This trip was my first real step into bikepacking and it genuinely felt good to embrace the unknown for a while. Not knowing where the road would take me tomorrow, simply letting go of some control and letting the journey unfold.

Already planning new routes. Excited to dive deeper into it. 🌀

And suddenly it feels like summer again. Longer days, softer nights and the pull of the outdoors returning.

I’ve spent most of the past months back home, working on something exciting that I’ll share later this year. But for now, I’m looking forward to northern summers - where tides rise and mountains fall.
