I was thrilled when Tori from TALLOW BUM CO. | Canadian Tallow Skincare asked me to come back a second time for a branding shoot with some of her new products, and I was even more excited when the plan was in a cow pasture 🙈🐄

I’m so excited to finally be able to welcome you to True Light Photography!

This project has been almost a year in the making, and it’s taken so long, mostly because it’s just a lengthy process, but also because I was quite nervous to actually pull the trigger… it’s a bit of a scary thing to change so much about something that I’ve been slowly building on for so many years… but I’m so glad I did!
This has been such a refreshing change… and it makes all the difference to me 🫶🏼

We were so nervous about the rain, but after chatting a long while about it, we decided to just go and embrace it, and though it ended up being overcast and a bit drizzly right at dusk, the sky ended up casting an beautiful, sleepy, blue glow… ✨🩵

We trudged through slushy snow for 40 minutes through a winding, hilly trail for these 🙈 Easily worth it, but I definitely got my workout in 😂 Also I’ve never belly laughed so hard during a session before, these two made this session so much fun!

The Woods family ||

I sent this collection out yesterday, and immediately got an email back and right in the middle of it, it said this:

“Perhaps my favourite part is the photos of scattered shoes on the beach, a hand reaching for another, a toe dipped in the water- a perfect reminder that some of the sweetest moments are the small ones you almost didnt notice amid the “big ones” you planned.”

…and it kind of made my day 🥹

P&M - a maternity shoot at sunset

Happy Friday, friends!
We were so nervous we’d totally miss the sunshine for this shoot, but we got it and wow 😍
Also I know the last one is a double up, but it really deserved to be on a slide by itself 🙈🥹

Also, always remember you always have control over your images on my social media page ☺️ A faceless post was a challenge I happily took on, and these two clearly have such a special connection, even without their faces to show it 🥹
