🇨🇦 HOME HOPES AND A TENNIS ICON
Rain delayed the action, but Day 2 at the National Bank Open in Toronto delivered plenty worth photographing.
Katherine Sebov gave the home crowd its first Canadian victory of the tournament. Ariana Arseneault battled through a tough opening-round match. And Venus Williams brought the crowd to life the moment she stepped onto Centre Court.
At 46, Venus still commands the stadium before the first ball is struck.
Here are a few of my favourite frames from a memorable day at Sobeys Stadium.
