About Me
Hi! I'm Durand, a photographer based in Winnipeg. Born on the beautiful island of Barbados, I moved to Canada for love. I come from a large, close knit family. When I'm back home I enjoy the feeling of white sand between my toes, the warm sun on my skin and the sound of the waves meeting the shore. When I don't have a camera in my hand I love exploring art and poetry, travelling, drinking coconut water, various genres of music (take me back to the 90's please) and singing karaoke - much to the dismay of my wife.
I have been a professional photographer since 2014. Telling the stories of my clients through photographs, securing those precious moments in time for them to remember forever means a lot to me. At the core of my photography style is getting to know you, observing, watching and allowing you to inspire me to capture wonderful candid memories, that will hopefully evoke a nostalgic sensation whenever you revisit the images we create.
