The best part of every trade mission: B2B meetings 🤝

ICYMI - we’re in Shanghai & Shenzhen this week repping Canada at the Creative Industries Trade Mission to China 🇨🇳

On the docket for today: B2B meetings - kind of like speed-dating, but for business. This is an opportunity for us to meet with and first new connections with like-minded businesses and innovators in China

This is our third time representing Canada on a trade mission, and we know from experience how important these relationships we’re building are.

Our last two trade missions in South Korea have led to multi-national co-productions and a signing ceremony, so we’re excited to see where the relationships we’re building on this trip will lead 🚀

We’ve been trying out the Blackmagic Design ProDock for the past few months, and one of our favourite features is the ability to use genlock with it

Meaning, we can genlock an iPhone to our LED wall and film virtual production with it 🤯

Every year, Manitoba Film & Music hosts a celebration of the work and people that make Manitoba’s thriving film industry possible — and we’re pumped to be one of the major sponsors this year as AVRO XR

Visited the 1st ever TIFF: The Market

Made a beeline for the Innovation Hub to try some amazing XR experiences, including:

James Monkman Studio Mekwâc: “Now Is Good”archive Reflections of Little Red Dot

Of course we had to check out a few premieres, including our friend Ian Bawa’s Strong Son, starring Mandeep Sodhi

Loved seeing Manitoban talent and stories on the big stage at TIFF 👏

Our REDEYE spec ad “Generational” with Prairie Cinema Supply & Raw Camera took home Gold at the 2026 Summit Awards for “Best Idea Never Produced”

“Generational” was one of our first projects following the launch of our video production arm REDEYE. The goal was simple: to showcase how we work with our partners across the industry to tell impactful stories.
