We and an uninvited (but welcome) guest come and join us for about 30 minutes at our campsite at Brereton Lake Campground. He even brought his own food and sat down and ate it as we ate breakfast. As a kid the pelicans seemed like such an ancient bird and out of a book. I still watch them in wonder. These pelicans were at Whitemouth Falls and Rainbow Falls in Manitoba.

We were able to spend the better part of last week at Brereton Lake Campground, in one of the non-serviced sites on the water, and it was well worth the view.
