I light painted this sweet Camaro at the Winnipeg location of the . It’s a pretty cool building as all those aluminum panels hang loose and can sway in the wind, giving the building a unique look during the day. A look the client liked. So a couple of emails later and I was able to get permission to use the building in the background. As you can tell from the 2nd image the look of an Art In The Dark image is drastically different from what a “normal” photograph looks like. This was the son’s car of the owner of the green 1929 Chevy I photographed at the Captain Kennedy’s Tea House. Two completely different looks for two very different styles of vehicles. There is still time to have something amazing created of your vehicle before it gets tucked away for the long winter. Just a few of the vehicles that are coming down the pike on this channel. Hey, I’m a damn good photographer, but I 100% admit my drawing skills are on a sub-par kindergarten level! lol. However from the stick drawing I chicken scratched on the first image you might have an idea of what I photographed Friday night at just off Garvey Road just north of Winnipeg! lol. The Ferrari has already been finished with multiple angles, just waiting for the ordering appointment with the owner before I share it. The Dragster is next on the build list after finishing up a 1928 Roadster in an awesome garage. Not to mention I just haven’t uploaded a Camera in from of the building in Winnipeg. Lots of amazing images have been photographed this summer, just taking some time to post them. There is still time to get your awesome vehicle photographed before the snow flies. It’s always a super great surprise when out of the blue a newspaper reporter reaches out to you and wants to do an article about you and your pet photography. (A FB ad that recently ended about pet portraits may or may not have played a roll in getting her to contact me). Regardless, totally free publicity, allowing them to use samples out of work (she asked if I was going to charge them to use my images - here’s 30 sample images, use as many as you want for fee!) promote my business name, website and personal photograph…. Let’s just say it was a really good way to check out my email this morning and a 45 minute interview 2 hours later!

Always remember and never forget…..Pets Are People Too!
Impact Photographic Design ❤️photographing animals. Be it showing off their own personalities on their own or as part of a family photograph, we always encourage photographing Fluffy, Fido and/or Fefe! Sometimes people overlook the importance of making memories of their 4 legged family member until it’s too late. They are a part of the family and their only flaw is they don’t live as long as we wish they would. However they will always live in in our hearts. Having incredible portraits of your little fur ball will be well worth it today….. and will only become more and more meaningful in the future.

I’ve been a little negligent when it comes to posting Art In The Dark Sessions on social media this summer…. but with this 1931 Chevy I’m getting back into the swing of things. I did two sessions for this gentleman, one of his 31 Chevy and another one (totally different location) of his son’s Camaro. If the client doesn’t have a location in mind I work with them to try to find a location that works with the vehicle. In this case we chose Captain Kennedy’s Tea House on River Road. You know the vehicle is special when the doors are made of wood and nails from the factory! The finished piece looked awesome presented on Aluminum for the owner’s wall! There are lots of different vehicles that’ll eventually get posted year I’ve been photographing this summer - from a 1928 Roadster to a 2013 Ferrari California, even a rail dragster!
